Weather in September: forecasters announce precipitation forecast

The weather forecast for September 2025 gives an idea of what to expect in the near future. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has published a brief climate overview.

Forecasters said that the average monthly temperature in September is 13–17 °C, in the southern part 18–20 °C in some places, and in mountainous areas 9–15 °C.

In general, the absolute maximum is 30.7–38.8 °C, in mountainous areas (except for the Chernivtsi region) in some places 24.3–36.0 °C.

In the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernivtsi regions, temperatures will range from 0 to 1 °C, and in Crimea, up to 5.5 °C. The absolute minimum temperature is 1–8.8 °C below zero.

The average monthly precipitation is 37–74 mm, locally 28–36 mm in the southern part, 77–108 mm in some places in the Lviv, Zakarpattia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, and 126–130 mm in the highlands of the Carpathians.

The average temperature in September will be 13–18 °C, in the Carpathians 11–12 °C, which is close to normal.

Precipitation is expected to be 37–76 mm, in the Carpathians 74–106 mm, which is within the normal range (80–120%).
