The weather forecast for 9 May provides for certain changes in the Kyiv region and Kyiv. The details were provided by the Meteorological Centre.
It will be cloudy in the city and the region with clearings. At night there will be light, moderate rain during the day. The wind will be mostly northerly, 5-10 m/s.
The temperature will be 2-7° Celsius at night, 8-13° Celsius during the day; in Kyiv, 4-6° Celsius at night, 9-11° Celsius during the day.
Weather in Ukraine on 9 May
As weather forecaster Natalia Didenko explained in her Telegram channel, a cyclone will be recorded over the southern part of the country on 9 May. Its activity and atmospheric fronts will cause rainy weather tomorrow in most regions of Ukraine.
There will be sleet in the Carpathians.
In Volyn, Rivne, and almost everywhere in the western regions, there will be no significant precipitation during the daytime.
Heavy precipitation is also possible in the central regions, as well as in Odesa and Mykolaiv. Air temperatures will be extremely uneven throughout the day.
In the west, north and a large part of the central regions of the country, it is expected to be +10+14 degrees.
In the southern part, it will be +12+16 degrees, in Zaporizhzhia up to +18 degrees, and in Crimea +17+20 degrees.
In the eastern regions, it is expected to be 16+21 degrees.
‘It is difficult to forecast rain in Kyiv tomorrow. The main precipitation zone on 9 May will affect the capital like a pendulum – it may be denser rain, or maybe light rain,’ she explained.
However, Didenko urged people to prepare for cold, +10, +11 degrees, and wet weather.
In the future, wet weather will prevail in Ukraine, nights will remain cold and the possibility of frost is not excluded during clearing.
During the day, we can expect a few degrees of warming. The daytime temperature will be +12+18 degrees.
