We continue to remove kiosks in Kyiv – Klitschko

Kiosks in Kyiv continue to be demolished.

Green areas are being set up in the city in locations where they were concentrated. This was announced by the head of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, on his Telegram channel.

Currently, the work has been completed in Pecherskyi district and is underway in Obolon district. The official checked the results in Obolon today and last night.

By the end of the year, kiosks will be removed in 4 more districts. Last year, many locations near metro stations in different districts of the Ukrainian capital were vacated.

Kyiv is organising electronic auctions in the Prozorro.Sale system to lease space for temporary structures. According to Vitali Klitschko, this will ensure clear rules and equal conditions for all participants, improve the urban environment and increase the stable revenue of the capital’s budget.

Today, on the night of 29-30 March, Ukrainians will switch to daylight saving time.
