Warming centres set up in Kyiv due to shelling and freezing temperatures

Operational headquarters have been set up in the capital, where residents affected by the night shelling can receive the necessary assistance and advice. These centres have been established to support people whose homes, property or safety have been compromised during the enemy attack.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, the first aid headquarters are operating in three districts of the capital: Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi and Desnianskyi. At these centres, specialists provide explanations on how to apply for assistance, psychological support, legal advice and help with submitting applications for financial assistance to those who have suffered losses.

In the Darnytskyi district, the centres are located in the offices of the condominium association on Mykola Bazhan Avenue and in the building on Dragomanova Street. A 24-hour hotline is available to residents for immediate consultations. In the Dniprovskyi district, there are several support points in different parts of the district where you can also seek help and advice. In the Desnianskyi district, the assistance headquarters is located on Kubanska Ukraina Street.

At these headquarters, victims can obtain complete information on how to complete the relevant documents, apply for assistance from the city, and receive support in the form of consultations on social, legal, or psychological issues.

The creation of such aid stations is part of a broad support network that local authorities and municipal services deploy after every major attack. They are designed to provide rapid assistance to Kyiv residents affected by shelling, helping them to repair their homes, providing emotional support and resolving all related issues.

We would like to remind you that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has announced how many buildings in the capital remain without heating.
