Verkhovna Rada to vote for extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine

Next plenary week, the Ukrainian parliament will again vote to extend martial law and general mobilization. This is the 16th time this procedure has been approved. The details were reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on his Telegram channel.

He noted that first, the National Security and Defence Council will adopt the decrees, and then the President will introduce them into law. After that, the Verkhovna Rada must approve them.

Accordingly, the rule will be adopted again for 90 days, from 7 August 2025 to 5 November 2025.

As a reminder, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia should multiply the capabilities of its ground forces as soon as possible.
