The State Emergency Service explained the purpose of the beds set up in the Resilience Centres in Kyiv. It is noted that these places are not full-fledged sleeping areas for
mass overnight stays. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
The beds are primarily intended for people who need help in an emergency, have health problems, or find themselves in critical
conditions and cannot remain on their feet for long periods of time.
The main purpose of the Resilience Centres is to provide citizens with the opportunity to warm up, recharge their mobile devices, receive hot drinks, basic support and
necessary assistance during power or heat supply interruptions.
The State Emergency Service emphasises that the work of the centres is organised with safety and the real needs of the population in mind, and their format may change depending on the situation.
As a reminder, in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, people are being transported to guesthouses due to the lack of heating.
