The aircraft, known as the President’s, will take part in the Career Festival in Kyiv.
This year, the State University Kyiv Aviation Institute (KAI) will present the aircraft at the event. This was reported by the Centre for Transport Strategies.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to get a closer look at the Tu-134A-3 Ukraine passenger airliner.
The aircraft was built in Kharkiv. It has transported presidents, landed at major airports around the world, and since 2012 has been an exhibit at the State Aviation Museum. These days, the Tu-134 Ukraine has temporarily left the museum walls and will be ‘working’ at the event, inspiring the younger generation to conquer new heights.

Guests at the festival will be able to board the aircraft. The aircraft will be the centrepiece of the Kyiv Aviation Institute zone, a large exposition on aviation, technology and engineering.
Ksenia Semenova, Acting President of the Kyiv Aviation Institute, said that the Aviation University aims to remind Ukrainians that aviation is still functioning despite the closed airspace. Ukrainians are studying to become pilots, designing new aircraft and even launching their own new aviation companies.
‘For us, Ukrainian aviation is a real symbol of resilience,’ she said.
The aircraft is already on the territory of the National Complex ‘Expocenter of Ukraine’. It was transported there through the streets of Kyiv at night.
As a reminder, traffic was partially restricted in the Dnipro district of Kyiv on 14-15 May.
