The Kyiv Sokil ice hockey team secured an away win against Kremenchuk

The HC Sokil ice hockey team secured an away victory against Kremenchuk in the fourth match of the Ukrainian Championship play-off final series. The match ended 3–2 (0–1, 3–0, 0–1), according to Kyiv Online.

Kremenchuk captain Vitaliy Lyalka put in an impressive performance, scoring two spectacular goals – the first and the last of the match. However, these efforts were not enough to secure victory for his team.

The second period proved decisive, during which Sokil found the net three times against Eduard Zakharchenko. The Kyiv side also managed to capitalise on their numerical advantage for the first time in the final series, taking full advantage of the opportunity on two occasions.

Sokil currently leads the series 3–1 and is one step away from securing the championship title. For Kremenchuk to stay in contention and keep their title hopes alive, they need to win the next three matches in a row and force a seventh game. The fifth match will take place in Kyiv on 7 April at 18:00.

Earlier, Kyiv Capitals lost to HC Kremenchuk for the second time in the final series of the Ukrainian Ice Hockey Championship.
