From 1 November, cars in Kyiv will be limited to a speed of 50 km/h. This was announced by the Traffic Management Centre (TMC).
The changes will apply to the following streets:
- Roman Shukhevych Avenue (from Pivnichny Bridge to Honoré de Balzac Street);
- Stepan Bandera Avenue (from Yordanska Street to Pivnichny Bridge);
- Naberezhne Highway (from Poshtova Square to Naddnipryanske Highway);
- Naberezhno-Rybalskaya Street (only in one direction – from Elektrykiv Street to Havansky Bridge).
Municipal authorities urge drivers to be careful, obey traffic rules and comply with the updated restrictions. They ask drivers to be especially careful near pedestrian crossings, educational institutions, and places where traffic accidents are common.
As a reminder, the Darnytskyi tram depot has completed a major overhaul of the fourth Tatra T3 tram car.
