Shelling of Ukraine on 30 October: consequences of Russia’s attack in the Kyiv region and other regions

Russian troops continue to steadily attack Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure. On 30 October, towns and villages in the Kyiv region came under attack. Details were reported on Telegram by Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Military Administration.

A 36-year-old woman was injured in the attack in Boryspil. She was hospitalised with thermal burns to her face and hands, and cuts to her forearms and lower legs.

A fire was reported in a private house in the city. As a result of the attack, the windows of two multi-storey residential buildings and private houses were damaged, two cars were destroyed and four were damaged.

Thanks to the coordinated work at the administrative borders of the region, six dozen enemy drones were destroyed.

In total, seven private houses and a company building were damaged in the Boryspil district, and windows were broken in three high-rise buildings. Eight buses and nine cars were also damaged, and two cars were destroyed.

In the Bila Tserkva district, one private house was damaged by the Russian strike.

Other cities also suffered from Russia’s attack on 30 October. Residents of Ladyzhyn in Vinnytsia region were left without heat and water. City Council Secretary Oleksandr Kolomiets said that inter-building water supply columns are currently being launched and technical water delivery is being organised. Specialists are preparing to launch an alternative heating system.

Kindergartens in the city will not be operating at this time. Residents of the most affected buildings will be relocated.

The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration reported on Facebook that at dawn, the enemy launched a massive strike on critical infrastructure in the Carpathian region.

The city of Burshtyn suffered perhaps the most severe attack. After the air raid sirens sounded in other regions, Russian invaders launched drones again at this location.

Currently, two households are known to have suffered minor damage. Due to the massive attack, emergency power cuts have been introduced.

In the Cherkasy region, according to the State Emergency Service, Russian aggression caused a fire on a farm. The fire engulfed 1,200 square metres of roofing. One animal died. There were no casualties among the population.

In Zaporizhzhia, a hit on a dormitory was recorded. The enemy attacked the city with rockets and drones for several hours.

Eleven people were injured, including six children under the age of six.

A dormitory, high-rise buildings, and other private houses were destroyed, and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

As a reminder, Russia fired drones at the Kyiv region. The attack damaged 80 apartments.
