Shelling of the Kyiv region: what are the consequences of Russia’s attack

On 22 September, Russian troops attacked Ukraine, including the Kyiv region. The occupiers used drones, according to the National Police press service.

Two private houses were damaged in the Boryspil district. A local resident was injured. Medical personnel provided the necessary assistance on site.

In the Obukhiv district, a multi-storey building was hit.

In the Fastiv district, debris falling from the sky caused a fire in a residential building. Rescuers have now extinguished the fire.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated based on these facts. Experts continue to work on investigating the site of the attacks.

As a reminder, Russia used UAVs and launched a targeted strike on the Epicentre near Kyiv. On 16 September, Russian troops attacked Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.
