She was walking with headphones: a girl died under the wheels of a Fastiv-Kyiv train

A 20-year-old resident of Chernihiv region was run over by a Fastiv-Kyiv train in Kyiv region.

The girl was wearing eadphones and probably did not see the train. This was reported by the police of the Kyiv region.

The report states that the incident occurred at kilometre 906 within the Pivni station. The girl was walking along the tracks with headphones on. She was subsequently hit by a Fastiv-Kyiv passenger train. The victim died at the scene from her injuries.

Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the railway incident. The Kyiv regional police reminded that rail transport is a high-risk area, so it is worth taking care of safety.
