Russia used UAVs and launched a precision strike on Epicentre near Kyiv

On 16 September, Russian troops attacked Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, including the logistics centre of the Epicentre company in the Kyiv region.

Rescue workers are trying to localise the fire. This was reported by the company’s press service on Facebook.

There were no casualties or injuries among civilians. However, the company has suffered significant losses again.

In total, dozens of facilities in various regions of Ukraine have been destroyed. Experts estimate that the total damage to the Epicentre group of companies caused by military aggression has already exceeded $1 billion.

‘The enemy is deliberately destroying businesses,’ the post says.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Telegram that the attack took place in the Fastiv district. Firefighting operations are currently underway in a warehouse building following the attack by a Russian UAV. Significant forces and equipment are involved in the work.

As noted by rescuers, extinguishing the fire is difficult due to the dense loading of warehouses. It is for this reason that volunteer fire brigades were called in for support. Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross and auxiliary equipment are working on site.
