Russia attacked Kyiv on 17 June and damaged an Intercity+ train with a work by Barbara Kruger

An Intercity+ train in Kyiv was damaged by a Russian strike on 17 June. It features a work by world-renowned American artist Barbara Kruger, Untitled (One More Time). This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia on Facebook.

The train withstood the attack. Specialists repaired the damaged windows, and at 11:36 a.m. it set off from Kyiv to Przemyśl on schedule.

This art project, as well as the entire history of Ukrainian resistance, as stated in the message, once again confirms that resilience is in our DNA. The artwork is dedicated to Ukrainians who keep moving forward every day.

Attack on Kyiv on 17 June

Russian troops attacked Kyiv on 17 June. The attack killed 14 people and injured over a hundred others.
The enemy used more than 440 drones and 32 missiles. Headquarters have been set up in Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts to help all those affected by the massive enemy attack on the capital.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko says that parts of cluster munitions are being found in Nyvky after Russia’s attack on 17 June. The head of the capital stressed that the Russian invaders will use weapons against people on purpose.

As a reminder, 18 June was declared a day of mourning in Kyiv due to Russia’s massive shelling.
