Riding without pedals and pushing: a pump track is being built at VDNKh in Kyiv

The Urban Park at VDNKh will now have a jump track. Construction has already begun. VDNKh reports this on Facebook.

The new platform will be designed specifically for a wave-like track for riding bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, and skateboards. The movement on it takes place without pedalling or pushing

‘Only through body balance,’ the post says.

The renovation of Urban Park will also help to modernise the spots for pan-football and 3×3 football, as well as carry out scheduled repairs to the skate park. The entrance to part of the territory, including the skate park and green lawn, will be temporarily restricted.

The sports cluster concept was developed by the Big City Lab team in collaboration with the PUPA urban bureau and the Street Culture platform.

The estimated duration of the work is until 31 August 2025.
