Rain and clouds: weather forecast for 14 May in Kyiv and Kyiv region

The weather forecast for 14 May in Kyiv and the Kyiv region has been announced by weather forecasters.

Partly cloudy and light rain (at night in some places) will be observed. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.

The wind in the capital is expected to be westerly, 5-10 m/s. The temperature at night will be 2-7° Celsius, and 12-17° during the day. In Kyiv, it will be 4-6°C at night and 14-16°C during the day.

In Ukraine, on 14 May, the country’s territory will be in a field of slightly low pressure, which will experience slight fluctuations. The airspace above us will still be dominated by cool, humid air from the north, which will cause an increase in cloudiness and light rains during the day as it warms up.

In Ukraine, there will be partly cloudy weather. Light rains are also expected (at night in some places). The wind will be mostly westerly, 5-10 m/s.

Temperatures will be 2-7°C at night, 12-17°C during the day, and 5-10°C in the highlands of the Carpathians.

According to the weather forecaster Natalia Ptukha, on 13-15 May, the weather in Ukraine will be determined by a cold air mass coming from the northern latitudes, causing a significant drop in air temperature at night during clearing with the likelihood of frost on the soil surface in the western regions and Vinnytsia region overnight. Atmospheric fronts in the field of slightly lower pressure cause unstable weather conditions during the daytime with cloudy skies and mostly light rains, which will also prevent air warming.
