Poacher causes UAH 50,000 worth of damage in Bila Tserkva district

On 15 November 2024, on the Protoka River in the village of Hrebinky, Bila Tserkva district, inspectors of the Kyiv Fisheries Patrol recorded a fishing violation.

The man was fishing for aquatic bioresources with prohibited mesh fishing gear – 3 units of nets with a total length of 150 m from a boat. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Fisheries Patrol.

The citizen caught the following species of fish: silver crucian carp – 32 specimens weighing 11.2 kg; pike – 1 specimen weighing 1.2 kg. The amount of damage caused to the fishery is UAH 54 thousand.

The agency reminded that fishing rules should be followed. In particular, there is a list of the boundaries of wintering pits in the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025’ to avoid unpleasant situations that will spoil your holiday.

Earlier, a fox hole was dug in the forest and an unusual guest was rescued.
