Playing checkers at the same time: children set a new Ukrainian record in Kyiv

178 participants played checkers simultaneously.

The National Record of Ukraine for the most massive simultaneous game of checkers by children under 13 during the Children’s Checkers League has been officially set. This was announced on Facebook by Oksana Dobrovolska, director of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth.

She said that thanks to the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth and the caring parents of the children, a special atmosphere reigned at the event. The participants carefully considered their moves.

The emotions are incredible: joy and pride for the future of Ukraine, no exaggeration,’ she explained.

Dobrovolska added that it is a great happiness to find like-minded people who support the promotion and development of intellectual sports among children.

Earlier, handball players from Kyiv region received unique metal alloy medals from the frontline.
