Ozone levels exceeded in Ivankiv area

Atmospheric air in Kyiv region is at the normal level. There was a slight excess in the Ivankiv area. This was reported by the KMWA.

Residents of the city were advised to refrain from excessive physical activity in the open air during the hottest hours of the day. In the region, the gamma radiation level corresponds to the natural background.

Air monitoring activities are ongoing. The process is carried out around the clock in an automatic mode.

The air quality is monitored at 15 observation points in the cities of Brovary, Irpin, Bila Tserkva, Pereiaslav, Boyarka, Vyshneve, Obukhiv, Kaharlyk, Uzyn, Bohuslav, Vyshgorod, Boryspil, Ivankiv and Velyka Dymerka villages, and Pidhirtsi village in Obukhiv district.

The air monitoring station in Vasylkiv is currently undergoing maintenance.
