On the road to Kagarlyk, a minibus rammed into a parked truck

In Obukhiv district, police are investigating the details of a road accident in which a female passenger in a minibus was injured. The incident occurred on the road connecting the village of Stavy with the town of Kagarlyk. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police.

According to preliminary information from the investigation, the 49-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Caravelle lost control while driving and crashed into a Mercedes Actros truck parked on the side of the road.

As a result of the collision, a 40-year-old female passenger in the minibus suffered injuries of varying degrees and was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
Employees of the investigative department of the Obukhiv District Police Department inspected the scene of the accident, recorded the damage to the vehicles, established the preliminary circumstances of the incident, and interviewed the participants.

A criminal case has been opened on the basis of Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for violation of traffic rules resulting in moderate bodily injury to the victim.
