On the Kyiv-Odesa motorway, a Mercedes-Benz driver hit a woman

A fatal accident occurred on the Kyiv-Odesa motorway in the Bilotserkivskyi district of the Kyiv region. On 10 December, at around 4:50 p.m., a Mercedes-Benz car driven by a 53-year-old driver hit a woman who was walking ahead in the same direction.

Unfortunately, the victim died at the scene. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing her identity.

Investigators from the Kyiv Region Police Investigation Department have opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of road safety rules resulting in death.

The police remind road users to be careful and follow the traffic rules.

As a reminder, on the Kyiv-Kharkiv motorway, the driver of a Volvo car collided with a lorry.
