Not only Sovski Ponds were on fire: rescuers extinguished large-scale fires on 10 May

Sovski ponds in Kyiv were in the spotlight today. Rescuers extinguished a fire in the Solomianskyi district. This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook.

On 10 May, at 14:05, a fire was reported on Valeriy Lobanovsky Avenue. Reeds caught fire on the territory of the Sovki tract, and the fire was extinguished at 15:51 on an area of 800 square metres.

The cause will be established by law enforcement. No one was injured.

A car fire was extinguished in the Pechersk district. It happened around 5pm. The fire started on Dmytro Godzenko Street.

A VAZ abandoned car parked in the yard caught fire and then spread to 4 nearby abandoned cars, a UAZ, a Skoda and a GAZ. The fire was extinguished at 17:06.

The fire was detected on the third floor in one of the premises of the administrative building. The fire on the area of 15 square metres was extinguished at 18:54.
