A tragedy occurred in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region, resulting in the death of three people and the hospitalisation of another child. The incident was reported to the police by neighbours who found the residents of one of the townhouses in the village of Bilohorodka showing no signs of life.
Law enforcement officers found that a 56-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman and their 11-year-old daughter had died in the house. The couple’s 4-year-old son was also in the house. The boy was in serious condition, showing signs of dehydration, and was taken to a medical facility. The child is currently receiving the necessary care.
According to preliminary data, the cause of death of the family could have been carbon monoxide poisoning, probably due to a malfunctioning gas boiler. The final causes of the incident will be determined after the relevant examinations have been carried out.

Investigators from the Bucha District Police Department have opened a criminal case under paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated.
