Large-scale fire extinguished in Kyiv’s Muromets Park

Firefighters have extinguished a fire on a grass deck in Muromets Park in Kyiv. The incident took place in the evening of 28 March. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

Firefighters found that the grass flooring and trees had caught fire in separate foci over an area of 1 hectare. Extinguishing the fire was somewhat complicated because there were no access routes for special equipment.

It took more than three hours to eliminate the fire. The rescuers reminded that in such situations, they should call immediately for a quick response.
