Large illegal rubbish dump was cleared in Darnytsia

An inspector from the Kyiv City Council discovered an illegal rubbish dump. Rubbish had been accumulating in the Darnytskyi district for a long time. This was reported by the Kyiv City Council’s Department of Territorial Control on Facebook.

A total of 140 tonnes of waste was removed, and the area was cleaned and brought up to proper sanitary standards.

Equipment and workers were brought in to carry out the clean-up. The cooperation between businesses and the city showed that they can quickly and effectively change the urban space.

The location was unbalanced, so a large-scale clean-up was organised. The partnership, which began with a two-month spring campaign, continues to yield tangible results.

As a reminder, municipal services will partially restrict traffic on Kyrylivska Street from 28 August. The relevant work will be carried out on the site.
