Russia has not abandoned its plans to invade Ukraine, so the construction of fortifications is more urgent than ever.
The Kyiv region continues to increase the pace of construction of fortifications. Details were provided by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
The protection of Ukraine’s borders is one of the main goals of the security policy. Construction continues in accordance with the state tasks of Ukraine. All work is agreed with the military in accordance with the expediency and need.
The fortifications under construction include an extensive system of trenches, dugouts and other types of shelters. Specialists are installing “dragon’s teeth” and appropriate barrier lines. Work is underway on anti-tank ditches and other non-explosive barriers.
Almost 10,000 concrete pyramids have already been installed and an anti-tank ditch has been constructed. The work is ongoing, with equipment and all the necessary materials being used.
The JMA stressed that they are in constant communication with the military on this issue. All forces and resources are being mobilised to complete the tasks.
Fortifications are being built under constant scrutiny. The quality and compliance with deadlines, as well as the efficient use of funds, are recorded. The lives of both civilians and our defenders depend on it.
As a reminder, the Russian strike caused damage to the environment in Kyiv region.
