Kyiv-Passenger – Kyiv-Romantic: Ukrzaliznytsia launches ‘Train to You’ for Valentine’s Day

Romantic express trains ‘Train to You’ will run exclusively for military personnel in Kyiv and Lviv. You can find these trains by searching for ‘Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi – Kyiv-Romantic’ and ‘Lviv – Lviv-Romantic’. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia on Facebook.

The journey in both cities will take approximately two hours and will start and end at the central railway station.

On 4 February, the romantic express will depart from Lviv at 18:56, and from Kyiv at 19:20.
On 15 and 16 February: in Lviv – at 16:11 and 18:56, in Kyiv – at 15:15 and 19:20.

The price of train tickets depends on the day of the week: in Kyiv it starts from UAH 504, in Lviv it starts from UAH 334.
You can use the Army+ app to make a purchase. The service is provided thanks to the Plus programme of support for servicemen.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, passengers will enjoy a romantic journey on a real steam locomotive in a new carriage, in a compartment for two. During the journey, music will be played, a themed game for two and a free surprise in the form of a romantic tea party from UZ partners (Lviv Croissants in Lviv, Gemini, OneLove & CheeseCake Family in Kyiv) will be offered.

The company also announced pleasant gifts for those passengers who will celebrate Valentine’s Day on 14 February. If not all tickets for the ‘Train to You’ are purchased by Ukrainian defenders, the remaining tickets will be made available for free sale to passengers in the Ukrzaliznytsia app the day before each flight departure.
