Kyiv-Basket lost to Dnipro in the first match of the Super League final series

On Sunday, 26 April, the final series of the Men’s Basketball Super League championship kicked off in Dnipro, opening with a match between Kyiv-Basket from Kyiv and the local side, Dnipro. The tense match ended in victory for the home side, who took the lead in the series.

Match result: Dnipro — Kyiv-Basket 78:70 (25:16, 19:22, 15:15, 19:17), reports Kyiv Online.

Following the first match, the score in the final series now stands at 1:0 in favour of Dnipro. To win the championship title, one of the teams must win two matches. The next game will take place on 30 April in Kyiv.

As a reminder, Kyiv-Basket made history by winning its first Ukrainian Cup. Sunday, 15 March, was a special day for basketball fans and the capital’s club, Kyiv-Basket. In the Ukrainian Cup final, the team faced a fierce battle against Prykarpattia-Hoverla and lifted the trophy above their heads for the first time in their history.
