International open water swimming competition OCEANMAN starts on one of the Dnipro bays

An international series of open water swimming competitions has started in Kyiv. The tournament is called OCEANMAN 2025 and takes place on one of the Dnipro bays. This is stated in the organisers’ announcement on Instagram Stories.

The competition will run until 29 June. On Saturday, 28 June, the start of the competition was postponed by 30 minutes due to morning rain. Later, the rain stopped in Kyiv, and 142 participants were able to take part in the 10-kilometre swim.

OCEANMAN 2025

OCEANMAN is an international series of open water swimming competitions that brings together athletes from all over the world. It is a unique international project that was developed by swimmers for swimmers. There are already 27 stages of the competition, which involve athletes of different levels of training.

As a reminder, Russian troops attacked Kyiv and damaged the Spartak Stadium.
