The head of a service station in Kyiv removed parts from vehicles instead of repairing them.
The total amount of damage is half a million hryvnias. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.
The Obolon District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv has sent to court an indictment against a 38-year-old service station manager accused of fraud and taking possession of a rented car.
The man rented a garage in the Obolon district of Kyiv where he provided car repair services. Customers would leave their cars at the station for diagnostics, give an advance payment, and then be convinced that their cars needed repair. However, instead of repairing the cars, the man would remove parts from the cars and stop contacting the owners.
In this way, the defendant ‘repaired’ 3 cars, including a military vehicle. The total amount of damage was over UAH 520 thousand.
In a similar manner, the man also dismantled a rented car, removing all parts, including the engine, causing the car owner losses totalling UAH 220 thousand.
Earlier, a drunk patient opened fire in a hospital in Kyiv.
