Railways in Ukraine – inspections at railway stations have been stepped up
Due to the growing threats of sabotage and attacks by Russian troops, Ukrzaliznytsia is stepping up security measures. Passengers are advised to arrive at railway stations 20-30 minutes before departure.
Citizens are urged to be vigilant of everything that happens around them – at railway stations, around the tracks, when looking out the window. Any suspicious actions, persons or objects should be reported to law enforcement.
Today, the Russian invaders have become especially insidious, as railway workers are finding special devices on the tracks designed to make trains derail. This has led to a difficult decision for the company, as it will cause inconvenience to passengers.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia increased the number of runs of the additional train No. 159/160 Kyiv-Truskavets. Tickets can now be purchased in the Ukrzaliznytsia app, on the website and at railway station ticket offices.
