Hundreds of drones and missiles: Russians attacked Kyiv on 29 November and killed civilians

On 29 November, Kyiv came under attack by Russian troops.

One person was killed. Seven more Ukrainians were injured, including a child. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Rescuers managed to save four people, including a child and a person with reduced mobility. The combined strike caused damage to residential buildings.

According to a Telegram channel post by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, fires broke out in the Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, and Darnytskyi districts as a result of debris falling on non-residential buildings and open areas.

Some areas of the city are experiencing power outages.

In the Darnytskyi district, rocket debris fell in the courtyard of a nine-storey building. There is a fire on the 6th floor of the building.

Emergency services are heading to the scene.

Shelling of Kyiv on 29 November – situation by district

Solomyanskyi district: debris fell on a 25-storey residential building, causing a fire in the external insulation and partial destruction of the facade from the 1st to the 3rd floor. Parked cars were damaged. The fire has been extinguished. Medics provided assistance to two people at the scene.

Shevchenkivskyi district: a 14-storey residential building was damaged. Apartments on the 4th and 5th floors were on fire. The fire was extinguished. Medical personnel provided assistance to one person at the scene.

At another address, debris fell on a 17-storey residential building without causing a fire.
A hit on a garage near a residential building in a private sector was also recorded. A fire broke out, and extinguishing operations are ongoing.

Dniprovskyi district: a hit on a 10-storey residential building caused the destruction of 6-7 floors. The fire has been extinguished. Three people were rescued from the 7th floor, including a person with limited mobility. Demolition of the structure is ongoing.

Sviatoshynskyi district: a 3-storey residential building was hit. A fire broke out on the 2nd floor, and rescuers saved a child. Another person sought medical attention. The body of a deceased person was recovered from the rubble. The fire has been extinguished, and the debris is being cleared.

Shelling of the Kyiv region on 29 November – situation by district

The Kyiv region was also attacked by Russian troops on 29 November. Two people were injured as a result of Russian shelling.

At night, the enemy attacked the Brovary and Fastiv districts.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the city of Brovary, causing damage to the 8th and 9th floors of a nine-storey building. Two people were injured, and one person was taken to a medical facility.

Rescuers also evacuated 52 people from the building, including three children.

Private buildings and nearby parked cars were damaged in the city.

A fire was extinguished in a garage cooperative, where 20 garages were damaged as a result of an enemy attack.

Russia had previously attacked Kyiv on 14 November. Russian occupiers struck residential areas of Kyiv with missiles and drones. Six people were killed and more than 35 were injured.
