June weather forecast
The weather in June, July and August 2025 will be hot in some places, not only in Ukraine. In most of Europe, it will be unevenly humid.
June in Ukraine will also be quite warm. The average monthly air temperature may reach +18…+23 °C, which is 0.5 to 1.8 °C above normal. The amount of precipitation is forecast to be below normal, with some places in the north and west being 20-40% below normal.
This month is not expected to be a record-breaking heat wave, but the frequency of hazardous weather events, such as heavy rains, hail and squalls, may be quite high. In this case, it is worth keeping a close eye on weather forecasts and operational storm warnings from official sources.
Summer temperatures in 2025 will generally be on average 1.1 to 2.5°C above the climate norm. At the same time, none of the months is expected to be record-breakingly hot, as there are currently no prerequisites for this.
Precipitation will be uneven, with heavy downpours in some places. In general, the summer season is characterised by thunderstorms and an increase in fire safety in the second half of the summer. Prolonged hostilities and the risk of fires in ecosystems are significantly increasing across the country.
As a reminder, the black stork was introduced in Chornobyl and is rarely seen in the wild.
