Four wounded: man throws grenade into crowded street in Skvyra

A man threw a grenade at people on a street in Skvyra. Four people were injured. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

The incident took place in the evening on 4 June. A 21-year-old girl, 27-year-old and 51-year-old local residents were injured in the grenade explosion. They were hospitalised.

As it turned out later, a conflict arose between the 34-year-old offender and one of the men. The man took a grenade he had kept at home and went to the people, throwing it in their direction.

The offender was detained. The suspect faces life imprisonment. Criminal proceedings have been initiated for the premeditated murder of two or more people, committed in a manner dangerous to the lives of many people.
