Evacuation continues: 462 evacuation cars have been deployed to transport passengers from Ukrainian regions

Ukrzaliznytsia continues to evacuate people from regions where hostilities are taking place. In the first six months of 2025 alone, 462 evacuation cars were used in the rescue. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia on Facebook.

Russian troops continue to shell civilian infrastructure and formerly peaceful cities. Additional railcars are being used for evacuation. Trains are running from Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Pavlohrad to safer Ukrainian regions. 3,286 passengers have been evacuated, including women, children, people with disabilities and, of course, pets

Passengers in each region are met by local authorities, volunteers and concerned citizens who are arranging for their fellow countrymen.
