Energy companies announced the situation with electricity in Kyiv

After large-scale power outages in the Kyiv region, energy companies restored electricity to nearly 60,000 families who were left without power due to bad weather and damage to the power grid. At the same time, more than 417,000 families in the capital remain temporarily without electricity due to the consequences of massive enemy attacks.

According to DTEK, energy companies in the Kyiv region are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the bad weather. Strong winds, frost and difficult weather conditions led to emergency power cuts and damage to power lines. Thanks to the coordinated work of repair crews, power has been restored to many families, but a significant number of subscribers remain without electricity.

In Kyiv itself, damage to power grids caused by a night-time attack by Russian troops led to significant power outages. Residents of the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts were left without power, where energy companies are currently working to restore the grids.

In total, more than 370,000 consumers in the region remain without electricity: about 280,000 due to bad weather and another 90,000 due to shelling and damage to infrastructure.

The most difficult situation is in the Boryspil and Brovary districts, where weather conditions and the consequences of attacks have complicated the restoration of power supply. Repair crews are working hard to restore power to all settlements as quickly as possible.

Energy companies emphasise that they are doing everything possible to minimise outages and restore stable power supply, despite difficult weather conditions and damage to critical infrastructure.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has announced how many buildings in the capital remain without heating.
