Child stumbles on a grenade while walking near home in Kyiv region

A child found a grenade while walking in the village of Ozyra, Bucha district. The parents immediately informed the Rescue Service. This was reported by the Mobile Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Bomb squad arrived at the scene. It turned out that it was a VOG-25P fragmentation grenade. The munition was seized and transported to a demolition site for further destruction.

The agency urged parents to explain to their children that any suspicious objects can be dangerous.
