On the night of 30 November, the enemy launched another missile strike on the residential and industrial sectors of Vyshgorod.

Currently, 146 people have been evacuated from the high-rise building. As a result of the strike, one person was killed and six were injured. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

Firefighting operations are ongoing. More than 90 rescuers and 18 pieces of equipment are working at the scene.

Local residents are receiving psychological assistance and support from the Red Cross Society.

The attack caused a fire and partial destruction in the high-rise building: the flames engulfed apartments from the 1st to the 6th floor of the nine-storey building.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the brutal attack by the Russians. He said that Russia had attacked the city with drones. As a result of the shelling by Russian troops, a large number of residential buildings were damaged. As of now, it is known that there are casualties: 19 people were wounded, including children.

‘One person lost their life in this attack. My condolences to their family and friends. There are wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. They also hit the Odesa, Sumy and Kherson regions. In total, there were 122 strike drones and two ballistic missiles overnight,’ he said.

Such attacks occur daily. This week alone, the Russians have used nearly 1,400 strike drones, 1,100 guided aerial bombs, and 66 missiles against Ukrainians. According to the politician, this is why Ukraine’s resilience must be strengthened every day. Missiles and air defence systems are necessary, and it is also necessary to actively work with partners for peace. Real, reliable solutions are needed to help end the war.

On 29 November, Russian troops attacked Kyiv and the surrounding region. Dozens of people were injured as a result of the shelling.

As a result of the attack on the Kyiv region on 29 November, 13 high-rise buildings and 9 private houses, 20 garages, and 24 vehicles were damaged.

A local resident was killed and eight other citizens were injured. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police.

In the city of Brovary, seven high-rise buildings, four private houses, 14 vehicles, and 20 garages were damaged. A fire broke out in one of the high-rise buildings. Fifty-two people were evacuated, including three children.

The fire has now been extinguished. Three citizens were injured, including a local resident who was hospitalised.

In the Bucha district, a private house and seven cars caught fire. A private house and four apartment buildings were damaged. Two men suffered bodily injuries. The police station in the town of Vyshneve was also damaged.

In the Obukhiv district, four private houses and three vehicles were damaged. A resident of the capital region was taken to hospital with injuries.
A two-storey private house was damaged in the Fastiv district. Unfortunately, a 55-year-old woman was killed and a man was injured.

Two high-rise buildings were damaged in Vyshhorod. A woman was hospitalised.

Shelling of the Kyiv region on 29 November

The Kyiv region was also attacked by Russian troops on 29 November. Two people were injured as a result of Russian shelling.

At night, the enemy attacked the Brovary and Fastiv districts.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the city of Brovary, causing damage to the 8th and 9th floors of a nine-storey building. Two people were injured, and one person was taken to a medical facility.

Rescuers also evacuated 52 people from the building, including three children.

Private buildings and nearby parked cars were damaged in the city.

A fire was extinguished in a garage cooperative, where 20 garages were damaged as a result of the enemy attack.

We will remind you that the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, stated that the western part of the capital was left without electricity as a result of the attack. Specialists are working to restore power.

On 29 November, Kyiv came under attack by Russian troops.

One person was killed. Seven more Ukrainians were injured, including a child. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Rescuers managed to save four people, including a child and a person with reduced mobility. The combined strike caused damage to residential buildings.

According to a Telegram channel post by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, fires broke out in the Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, and Darnytskyi districts as a result of debris falling on non-residential buildings and open areas.

Some areas of the city are experiencing power outages.

In the Darnytskyi district, rocket debris fell in the courtyard of a nine-storey building. There is a fire on the 6th floor of the building.

Shelling of Kyiv on 29 November – situation by district

Solomyanskyi district: debris fell on a 25-storey residential building, causing a fire in the external insulation and partial destruction of the facade from the 1st to the 3rd floor. Parked cars were damaged. The fire has been extinguished. Medics provided assistance to two people at the scene.

Shevchenkivskyi district: a 14-storey residential building was damaged. Apartments on the 4th and 5th floors were on fire. The fire was extinguished. Medical personnel provided assistance to one person at the scene.

At another address, debris fell on a 17-storey residential building without causing a fire.
A hit on a garage near a residential building in a private sector was also recorded. A fire broke out, and extinguishing operations are ongoing.

Dniprovskyi district: a hit on a 10-storey residential building caused the destruction of 6-7 floors. The fire has been extinguished. Three people were rescued from the 7th floor, including a person with limited mobility. Demolition of the structure is ongoing.

Sviatoshynskyi district: a 3-storey residential building was hit. A fire broke out on the 2nd floor, and rescuers saved a child. Another person sought medical attention. The body of a deceased person was recovered from the rubble. The fire has been extinguished, and the debris is being cleared.

Russia had previously attacked Kyiv on 14 November. Russian occupiers struck residential areas of Kyiv with missiles and drones. Six people were killed and more than 35 were injured.

Kyiv On 14 November, the city was again under heavy fire. Some of the air targets were shot down by the defence forces, but one missile still reached a residential area. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the body of another victim was found in a damaged building in the Desnianskyi district.

According to current information, six residents of the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv have been killed. The search and rescue operation in the building is ongoing.

The strike hit a five-story building, where the blast wave damaged the floors, destroyed apartments on several levels, and caused local fires. Rescue units arrived within minutes, beginning the evacuation of residents, searching for people under the rubble, and extinguishing fires. Medical personnel provided assistance directly at the building, as the number of injured increased with the discovery of the extent of the damage.

In neighbouring buildings, the blast wave knocked out windows and damaged balconies and utilities. Residents of the area were frightened by the renewed shelling, but the quick work of the rescue workers prevented further casualties. State Emergency Service specialists conducted an initial inspection of the structures, identifying areas where there was a risk of further collapse. The local area was cordoned off, and residents of the most affected buildings were temporarily relocated to accommodation centres. Utility crews began to close damaged window openings, cover the roof, restore damaged networks and stabilise life support systems.

Other services were also working in parallel. Law enforcement officers secured the perimeter to prevent people from entering dangerous areas and to control the operation of equipment. Specialists took photographs and collected data on the nature of the damage for further examination and possible compensation. Psychologists also arrived in the area to provide assistance to those who had experienced severe emotional stress, especially elderly people and families with children who were at home during the explosion.

The shelling on 14 November – what help will residents receive

The authorities have announced that a decision on the possibility of rebuilding the building will be made after a detailed survey has been completed. According to preliminary conclusions, the damage is significant, but some of the structures can be reinforced.

Residents are promised assistance and compensation programmes, as well as help with temporary accommodation until the restoration work is completed. Emergency services continue to work at the site of the shelling, dismantling dangerous fragments, removing destroyed materials and preparing the building for further action.

This attack is yet another reminder of how much Kyiv remains in a high-risk zone today. Air defence operations save a significant number of people every day, but some strikes still cause damage to residential areas.

Despite the fear they have experienced, residents of the area are trying to support each other, helping rescuers, passing on information about missing neighbours, and bringing water and essential items to those who did not have time to take anything from their homes. Although the consequences of the shelling are still being dealt with, the city continues to live and strengthen its security systems to counter such threats in the future.
