Almost one million hryvnias: a man illegally caught fish and crayfish

A poacher in the Kyiv region caused damage worth about UAH 900,000 in the village of Matyushi in the Ros River, Bila Tserkva district.

The offender illegally caught fish and crayfish. This was reported on Facebook by inspectors of the Kyiv Fisheries Patrol.

In total, aquatic bioresources were caught with prohibited fishing gear. The offender used four nets and 5 crayfish.

He caught biological resources with a total weight of 252.6 kg: silver crucian carp – 40 specimens; silver carp – 35 specimens; bream – 41 specimens; pike perch – 1 specimen; crayfish – 190 specimens.
