A man was run over by a train near Bobryk station

In the village of Shevchenkove, near Bobryk station, a 42-year-old man was hit by a train. The tragedy occurred on 18 June at 19:35. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police.

The man was crossing the tracks in the wrong place. The driver saw him and applied the horn and emergency braking.

However, the collision could not be avoided. The pedestrian was fatally injured and died on the spot.
Law enforcement officers opened a criminal investigation.

The police in Kyiv region urged citizens to remember that the railway is a high-risk area. Crossing the tracks is only allowed in certain months.
