A man was run over by a Kyiv-Odesa train in Vyshneve

A man was hit by a Kyiv-Odesa train in Vyshneve. The police of Kyiv region are establishing the circumstances of the incident on the railroad, the department’s press service reports.

The incident was recorded on August 1 at about 09:00. The pedestrian was crossing the railroad tracks in the wrong place.

The driver sounded the horn, but the 73-year-old man continued to walk. As a result of the incident, the victim suffered abrasions to his back and legs. Medics provided the man with the necessary assistance.

The Kyiv region police reminded that the railway infrastructure is a high-risk area, so be careful and cross the tracks only in designated areas.
