19-year-old man stole a Mercedes minibus from his workplace

Construction work in the Kyiv region ended with the theft of a minibus belonging to the owner of the property. In the Vyshhorod district, a 19-year-old man decided to steal the vehicle while he was working. This was reported by the National Police press service on Facebook.

The theft of a Mercedes Sprinter minibus took place in the village of Rovy. The young man was performing construction work on the property of a married couple. He was temporarily living on the property with the owner’s consent. Later, the worker decided to commit a crime.

He made sure that no one was watching his actions, took the keys to the car, which was located next to the yard, from the house and illegally took possession of it.

Law enforcement officers found the offender in the village of Dymer. The minibus was seized and placed in an impound lot.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated. The young man faces up to five years in prison.
